One of my favorite fall/winter looks. A flawless matte face with a brown smokey eye. Let me know if you would like a tutorial or product list!

Hi Ladies!
If you know me at all then you know I love a good full coverage yellow tinted foundation. I have recently lost all interest in the “dewy look” and I have been obsessed with a full coverage matte look. Of course, the matte look is not for everyone and if you have dry skin or you are over 35 then you understand that this can be one of the most unflattering looks but if moisturized correctly you can get the most flawless finish when you go matte. For about six months I have been a die hard believer in the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation and let me just say, if you have not yet tried this foundation STOP what you’re doing and head to your local mall to pick it up because it will change your life. I recently finished my first bottle of this though and decided to pick up another full coverage foundation in hopes that it would amaze me just as much as my trusty Estee Lauder but I was very very disappointed. I decided to go to Ulta after lunch with my boyfriend one day and picked up the Becca Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme. I was trying to decide between two colors but went with the slightly darker and more yellow tinted one since my face is a couple shades lighter than the rest of my body (I chose Buff). The next morning I decided to slap this foundation on using a damp beauty blender… It was an absolute disaster to say the least. This was pure and I mean PURE yellow on my skin, it wasn’t even a foundation shade it looked like I had put yellow face paint onto my skin! From a distance it looked alright but then when I looked close into my mirror the foundation was all separating and sticking in chunks to different parts of my face when I tried to add a second layer on to try and make it more even it just started pulling the foundation off of my nose and cheeks and it looked like I didn’t even put foundation onto my face let alone a full coverage foundation. I had really high hopes for this product but I will be returning this ASAP because it is not usable at all. I thought it might just be my skin having a weird reacting to this foundation but when I looked up reviews a lot of other women had these similar issues so my final verdict is to not buy this foundation. If you can get a sample of it in a better color then sure try it out but do not I repeat do not spend the money on this.
So I’ll ask you ladies, do you have any suggestions for a full coverage matte foundation?

XOXO
