Hi Ladies!
Well here we are once again… I apologize for being so MIA these past couple of months but life has seriously gotten in my way. As some of you know I have a serious love for makeup and skin care products and in the past couple of months I decided to take that love and turn it into a real career for myself and I seriously could not be happier with the direction that my life is taking me. Recently I took a one week intensive class at CAMMUA (which is basically a makeup school for all ages and women who just want to pick up some skills or enhance their career, I will leave their website below for you to check out). While I was at CAMMUA I seriously fell in love with doing someone else’s makeup because there is really NOTHING like it. Until recently I never considered myself a makeup artist because I have always had a strong belief that makeup artists actually put makeup on someone other than themselves (hence why most girls on YouTube are called “beauty bloggers”). But I realized through this intensive skill that I had a serious talent for makeup and especially applying it on someone else, not to toot my horn or anything but I loved having someone in my chair and making them feel their most beautiful for the moments I had with them. At the end of the course I was asked if I would like to train to be an instructor at the school, obviously I screamed a little inside and accepted the offer immediately. So that’s where I have been, working my little butt off every Saturday and Sunday at workshops and seminars and let me just tell you, when you find what you love you aren’t even working you’re just enjoying your life. I have this big goofy smile on my face right now just thinking about going to work this weekend because I find so much happiness and joy through guiding other woman to feel their most beautiful. Up until recently I really didn’t think my makeup skills or lack there of were very impressive and I was never totally thrilled with the outcome but recently I have been practicing and investing in the right tools and I finally feel ready to put my work out there and share it with all of you beautiful women. So hopefully you gain some inspiration of the products and looks.
